At the core of the Invisinet v4.3.0 release is our new OKTA integration, enabling true OKTA user-level authentication into the Invisinet platform. This brings customers the flexibility to unify identity management while maintaining the robust visibility, control, and enforcement our platform is known for. With OKTA now baked directly into the core of Invisinet, organizations can extend their identity governance policies directly to InvisiPoint Agents—seamlessly and securely.
Highlights of the v4.3 Release:
1. OKTA TAC Profiles
Starting with v4.3.0, administrators can leverage TAC Profiles to define a standard set of activation and connection parameters for OKTA identities across all InvisiPoint Agents. This eliminates the need for repetitive, manual entry and ensures consistent enforcement across the environment. One profile, infinite consistency.
2. Identity Group Management
The Identity Groups UI has been fully redesigned for clarity and control. A new Groups menu allows admins to easily create, edit, and manage both Invisinet-native and OKTA-linked groups, along with their descriptions. It’s now easier than ever to organize and control who gets access to what, when, and how.
3. .zta File Extension for Windows Agents
Users of Windows InvisiPoint Agents can now import identity with a simple double-click. By using the new .zta file extension, identity and InvisiGate information is auto-populated—no certificate imports or manual entry required. It’s Zero Trust, made user-friendly.
4. Auto-Restart for Windows InvisiPoint Enforcers
System reliability is critical. InvisiPoint Enforcers on Windows will now auto-restart after a reboot, ensuring enforcement resumes immediately and without administrative intervention.
5. Expanded Ubuntu Kernel Support
We’ve extended compatibility with newer Ubuntu kernel versions, and broadening support for more environments running InvisiPoint Agents and Enforcers.
This release represents a significant step forward in our product roadmap, especially enterprises looking to modernize access controls without overhauling existing infrastructure. By building deeper integrations with identity providers like OKTA and continuing to streamline agent and group management, Invisinet continues to reduce complexity while expanding its capability.
As always, we’re grateful to our customers and partners for their input and continued trust in Invisinet. We’ll continue to build what’s next in Zero Trust—and make it deployable today.
