Getting Started
It is a secure mobile Agent that connects iPhones and iPads to protected resources using Invisinet's Zero Trust platform.
iOS 17 and 18, iPadOS 17 and 18.2.
Download it from the Apple Store using this link .
Installation & Configuration
- Install InvisiGate v4.3.0+.
- Download the iOS app from the App Store.
- Launch the app and add an identity.
- Activate identity to connect to protected resources.
- Manual Configuration
- Automatic via Certificate Portal
- Okta (OIDC) Identity
Yes. Open the .zta file via browsing, URL, or email to auto-import identity information.
A .zta file is a file associated with a security model that verifies the identity of every user and device trying to access a resource, regardless of their location, inside or outside the network. It ensures that only authorized users and devices can access specific resources, and that access is granted based on the least privilege principle.
Identity Management
- Identity Certificate
- Private Key
- Certificate Authority Trust Chain
- InvisiGate FQDN or IP
Provide your Certificate Portal IP or FQDN, and your login credentials. The app retrieves the identity and configuration automatically.
Tap + > Okta Identity, enter Identity Name and InvisiGate Address. You’ll authenticate via the Zero Trust Authenticator.
Only one identity can be active at a time. Activating a new one disables the previous.
Agent Features
It shows logs by category, severity, and time. You can delete, refresh, or share logs.
Green: Identity activated with a secure connection to Protected Resources.
Blue: Identity not currently activated.
The app deactivates after 30 minutes of no activity. You can extend this in-app when prompted.
Advanced Settings
You can choose to retry indefinitely until cancelled, or never retry. The app cycles retry attempts with increasing intervals.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure the identity is provisioned in InvisiGate.
- Make sure Secure Tunnel permissions are granted.
- Confirm Certificate Portal or Okta credentials are correct.
